Making Yourself at Home

To ensure all our guests enjoy the "dramatic stillness" of the manor, we kindly ask you to follow these simple guidelines:
Respecting the Village Serenity

Frog Manor is nestled in a peaceful, traditional Cheshire village where the "dramatic stillness" of the countryside is a core part of the experience. To preserve this tranquil atmosphere and maintain our excellent relationship with our neighbors, we kindly request that all guests observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. This community-focused policy ensures that everyone in the village can enjoy the evening's calm just as much as our guests do.

During these hours, we ask that you keep noise to a minimum, particularly when utilizing the outdoor spaces, the garden bar, or the hot tub. While we want you to celebrate and enjoy your stay, please ensure that music and loud conversations are moved inside after 10:00 PM with doors and windows closed. This small gesture of respect helps us keep Frog Manor a welcomed and harmonious part of the Church Minshull community.

Preserving the Manor’s Freshness

To ensure the comfort of all current and future visitors, Frog Manor is a strictly non-smoking and non-vaping property. This policy applies to every internal area of the house, including the conservatory and all communal spaces. Our interior design utilizes high-quality linens and neutral fabrics that are sensitive to odors; maintaining a smoke-free environment ensures that the manor remains fresh, clean, and welcoming for every group that walks through our doors.

For guests who wish to smoke, we ask that you do so exclusively in the designated outdoor garden areas. Please ensure that all cigarette ends are extinguished properly and disposed of in the provided external bins rather than being left in the gardens or the stream. We appreciate your cooperation in protecting the manor’s pristine interiors and ensuring a safe, pleasant environment for everyone.

A Paws-itive Experience

We understand that dogs are part of the family, and we are delighted to welcome well-behaved four-legged friends to enjoy our two acres of private grounds. With endless countryside walks right on the doorstep, Frog Manor is a paradise for pets. However, to maintain the high standard of our upholstery and flooring, we strictly require that dogs remain on the ground floor at all times and are kept off the furniture, including sofas and beds.

We kindly ask owners to ensure their pets are clean and dry before entering the manor, especially after exploring the damp areas near the stream. Please bring your own pet bedding and bowls to make them feel at home. By following these simple rules, you help us remain a pet-friendly destination while ensuring the manor stays in top condition for the next guests who may have allergies or sensitivities.

Safety by the Water

One of the most enchanting features of Frog Manor is the gentle stream, or "burn," that meanders through our private grounds. This natural water feature provides a beautiful backdrop for relaxation and adds to the atmospheric charm of the estate. However, because the water level and flow can change depending on the Cheshire weather, the stream is an unfenced natural hazard that requires caution and respect.

For the safety of your group, we require that children and pets are supervised at all times when near the water’s edge. While the stream is usually shallow and peaceful, the banks can become slippery, and the current can be deceptive. We want your stay to be defined by happy memories, so please ensure that little ones and furry companions are never left unattended in the garden areas to ensure a safe and worry-free retreat.
